{"id":8220,"date":"2026-09-11T14:46:36","date_gmt":"2026-09-11T12:46:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/archeol.sav.sk\/?p=8220"},"modified":"2026-09-11T14:46:36","modified_gmt":"2026-09-11T12:46:36","slug":"notice-regarding-fraudulent-content-of-the-journal-panchal-and-misuse-of-the-name-of-the-institute-of-archaeology-of-the-sas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archeol.sav.sk\/index.php\/en\/2026\/09\/11\/notice-regarding-fraudulent-content-of-the-journal-panchal-and-misuse-of-the-name-of-the-institute-of-archaeology-of-the-sas\/","title":{"rendered":"Notice Regarding Fraudulent Content of the &#8220;Journal&#8221; PANCHAL and Misuse of the Name of the Institute of Archaeology of the SAS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Institute of Archaeology of the Slovak Academy of Sciences (IA SAS) strongly protests against the unauthorised misuse of the name of the institution as well as the names of its employees for the generation of fraudulent content in the &#8220;journal<em>&#8221; PANCHAL: International Journal of Archaeology &amp; Cultural Heritage<\/em> (<a href=\"https:\/\/panchalajournal.com\/index.php\/panchala\/index\">https:\/\/panchalajournal.com\/index.php\/panchala\/index<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>The Institute hereby declares that the employees of the Institute of Archaeology of the SAS are not, have never been, and strictly object to being listed as members of the editorial board of this &#8220;journal&#8221;, nor are they the authors of any content published under the banner of this fraudulent &#8220;periodical&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The Institute of Archaeology of the SAS strongly demands that the publisher of the &#8220;journal&#8221; PANCHAL immediately remove all fraudulent content.
