Researched area<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Main result of the project will be complete settlement model of the area of Kysuce region from the beginnings of middle ages to the beginning of modern era, by evaluation of archaeological and enviromental sources. Database of all types of archaeological sources from the period of more than one millenium will be confronted with chosen characteristics of natural environment, leading to the analysis of cultural landscape and historical settlement structures. Emphasis will be put not only on the processing of known archeological finds and localities, but also on recognoscation of terrain by modern prospection methods, using GIS and processing the database by statistical methods.<\/p>\n
